CLIENT CARE
What the HEAREA website stores, and why.
When you create an account, HEAREA stores the name you choose to provide, your email address, a securely derived password hash, your email preference and your account creation date. Your original password is not stored.
When paid checkout is introduced, order references, dates, status, line items and totals will be associated with your member account so you can view your history. Payment card details will be handled by the payment provider and are not intended to be stored on this website.
Newsletter preferences are stored only when you actively request email updates. You can change that preference from your account at any time. Email delivery will begin only after HEAREA connects a mailing provider.
A secure, HTTP-only session cookie keeps you signed in. It cannot be read by ordinary page scripts. Account pages are excluded from search indexing.
This operational overview describes the current V1 website. Formal commerce terms, retention periods and business contact details must be completed before paid checkout launches.
